Don't Use RegisterFly
A warning to all who consider buying domains and hosting from RegisterFly.com. Don't do it, at least not now. I have had my domains with them for over a year with not too much problems I must admit. But just recently when I tried to renew one of my domains everything went crazy.
The domain just wouldnt renew, I have tried several times, contacted support which every time says they have some problems and I should try again it will work now. But it never works.
Not only that, to make sure the next domain in line gets renewed in time I put that one on renewal early. Guess what happens? They try to renew it 30 times.
Luckily there seems to be a cap of 10 years so now it expires in 2016, not 2036 and I only have to pay them $89 instead of $267. I'm still waiting for them to refund and reverse the extra years with no luck.
So my advice is, stay away from RegisterFly.
